Ubud Tour Ittinerary
Pick up from your accommodation at 8:30 a.m. and proceed to your first stop, a Batuan traditional Balinese house in the Gianyar region, 15 kilometers from Denpasar. You will go to one of the houses where the locals live and go about their daily lives.
The structure of this complex is characteristic of Balinese architecture: it consists of many buildings, the east of which is used to make offerings and the south of which is used as a kitchen. The parent’s room is usually in the west building, while the children’s rooms are in the north building, which is also where the offerings are made. Hindus in Bali, on the other hand, build their family temple in the northeast corner of the home. Every day, they make offerings there.
Visit a coffee farm at 11:30 a.m. to learn about the famed Luwak coffee, which is made from the beans of coffee berries that have been partially digested by Asian palm and other civets. Learn how the farmers pick the still-intact beans from the forest floor, clean, roast, and grind them the same way they do other coffees. Investigate the entire process of creating the odd drink and have a chance to try it for yourself.
Experiment with different coffees, teas, and cocoa drinks. Purchase some Luwak coffee to sample at your leisure. Then, head to Ubud Royal Palace (Puri Saren Ubud) to marvel at one of the region’s most famous landmarks. The palace was erected during the reign of Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800-1823) in a typical Balinese style and has been properly conserved by his heirs. Admire the gorgeous gardens and the cool shade provided by the banyan tree.
Continue to the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud’s to see the home of roughly 200 monkeys. Long-tailed macaques, also known as “God’s Guard of the Dalem Agung Temple,” are found in specific places and are frequently seen on the roads
